Amber Rose Engagement to Wiz Khalifa

The hip hop video model and socialite, Amber Rose, just got engaged to long time boyfriend, Wiz Khalifa, reports E!Online.

Wiz Khalifa, who is known for his song "Black and Yellow" and Amber Rose, who was previously linked to Kanye West, shared the news of their engagement via Twitter, or rather, via an image of the big ring. A few minutes later, Rose tweeted, "He has made me the Happiest Woman in the World!!!!"

Maybe since she's previously linked to Kanye West, the question of gold-diggerism just migh be raised. Or, we here in the legal world prefer: prenuptial agreements. Though in this case, both celebrities are probably worth about equal weight in gold.

According to the Golddigger's guide as brought to you by FindLaw's Houston Family Law Blog, here are just three things of the things a prenuptial agreement can't include. They are:

  • Child support or child custody issues.
  • Personal preferences.
  • Patently unjust/illegal provisions

When celebrities get married, the second one of these is often particularly important. A prenuptial agreement shouldn't include matters of personal preference, like who will have what chores, where to spend the holidays, what school the children will attend, or even a schedule about intimacy. Judges just don't like this kind of stuff in a prenuptial agreement.

Of course, you don't have to be a celebrity to have a prenuptial agreement. And if you are close to someone and on the verge of getting engaged or married, you probably want to discuss the topic with an attorney.
